Canadian Army to welcome new Commander

Media are invited to attend the change of command ceremony for the Canadian Army (CA) on July 12, 2024. Lieutenant-General Michael C. Wright will assume command of the CA from Lieutenant-General Jocelyn (Joe) Paul, in a ceremony presided over by the Chief of the Defence Staff, General Wayne Eyre. A brief media opportunity will follow the ceremony.

When: Friday, July 12, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., EST

Where: Salaberry Armoury, 188 Alexandre-Taché Boulevard, Gatineau, Québec
