Minister Blair to attend Conference of Defense Ministers of the Americas

The Honourable Bill Blair, Minister of National Defence, will travel to Mendoza, Argentina for the 16^th biennial Conference of Defense Ministers of the Americas (CDMA).

During the Conference, which runs from October 14 to 16, 2024, Minister Blair will participate in plenary sessions and hold bilateral meetings with defence counterparts from the Americas.

The CDMA brings together defence ministers from over 30 member states across the Americas. It is an integral part of Canada’s engagement to maximize our collective security and prosperity in the Western Hemisphere, while defending the principles and norms that underpin the rules-based international order.
