Minister McGuinty to visit Seaspan Vancouver Shipyards to advance Canada’s Defence Industrial Strategy

Media are invited to participate in a media availability with the Honourable David J. McGuinty, Minister of National Defence, who is advancing Security, Sovereignty, and Prosperity: Canada’s Defence Industrial Strategy.

Prior to the media availability, Minister McGuinty will meet with Seaspan representatives and tour the shipyard to meet with workers and see the progress made on the Royal Canadian Navy’s Joint Support Ships and the Canadian Coast Guard’s Polar Icebreaker.
