Centre of Expertise

National Defence (DND) Grants and Contributions Centre of Expertise is responsible for managing the DND Portfolio on grants and contributions (G&Cs). The main tasks of the Centre of Expertise are:

• advising program managers on G&Cs (program creation, modification, termination, terms and conditions, funding agreements, etc.)
• reporting on G&Cs
• preparing the departmental proactive disclosure report on G&Cs
• verifying, reviewing, and monitoring programs’ financial expenditures on G&Cs
• answering Parliament’s questions and other enquiries on G&Cs
