Member Assistance Program

From: National Defence

The Member and Family Assistance Program is a voluntary, confidential and short term telephone and face to face counselling service. The program was initiated by the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) to assist members (Regular Force, all Reserve Class Members, Cadets, Rangers) and their family members who have personal concerns that affect their personal well-being and/or work performance.

Who offers the program

The program is a partnership between the Department of National Defence and Health Canada Employee Assistance Service. It is paid for by the CAF and there is no charge to members and their families that use the program.
