Change in Nomenclature - Power Pilot Training Course / Glider Pilot Training Course

1. Comd Natl CJCR Sp Gp has directed that the training courses previously known as Glider Pilot Scholarship (GPS) and Power Pilot Scholarship (PPS) be renamed to better reflect the academic course of study that is associated with these courses.
2. The former GPS and PPS courses will now be respectively known as:
   1. Glider Pilot Training Course (GPTC); and
   2. Power Pilot Training Course (PPTC).
3. The new nomenclature better identifies with the primary responsibility of Air Cadet Flying Program training. However, the curriculum and delivery of the training remains extant.
4. There will be a transition period to effect these changes where documents with the old nomenclature will still be valid until they are changed over to the new one. The new nomenclature shall be incorporated in any new documentation immediately.
