CANCDTGEN 022/20 – RELEASE OF NEW MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) BETWEEN THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES AND THE NAVY LEAGUE OF CANADA, THE ARMY CADET LEAGUE OF CANADA AND THE AIR CADET LEAGUE OF CANADA

Ref: MOU (2005) Between the Department of National Defence and the Navy League of Canada, Army Cadet League of Canada and the Air Cadet League of Canada

1. Effective immediately, the document at ref has been superseded by a new MOU.
2. This MOU among the CAF and the Cadet Leagues concerns the consultative arrangement for executing shared responsibilities in support of Cadets and Cadet Corps and Squadrons.
3. The MOU is the culmination of the exceptional collaboration between the senior leadership of the National Cadet and Junior Canadian Rangers Support Group, and the Navy League of Canada, Army Cadet League of Canada and the Air Cadet League of Canada over the past year. It represents the latest evolution in the partnership between the CAF and the Cadet Leagues, and will establish the framework that will oversee, guide and enable interactions between stakeholders at all levels.
