Canadian Cadet General Order (CANCDTGEN)

Cancellation of CATO 18-04, Procedures for Integrated Program Requirements List (IPRL) Funding Requests

1. Effective immediately Cadet Administration and Training Order (CATO) 18-04, Procedures for Integrated Program Requirements List (IPRL) Funding Requests is cancelled.
2. All Canadian Forces Registered (CFR) equipment including trailers, vehicles, Material Handling Equipment (i.e. forklifts), All Terrain Vehicles (ATV) and Land Over Snow Vehicles (i.e. ATVs, Gators, snowmobiles etc.) will be procured through the Director Support Vehicles Program Management (DSVPM). All requests for CFR procurement from the Regional Cadet Support Unit (RCSU) will be submitted to the Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers Group Headquarters (CJCR Gp HQ) J4 Transportation for consideration and coordination.
3. Watercraft maintenance will continue to be funded from RCSU Operating and Maintenance (O&M) funding allocations. Any required funding increases will be coordinated by the CJCR Gp HQ Life Cycle Material Manager (LCMM) through the RCSU J4.
4. Funding for all other material will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by CJCR Gp HQ J4. Depending on the scope of the project, procurement may be conducted nationally, or funding may be disbursed for procurement by the RCSU.
5. Questions concerning procurement processes for the CJCR Gp may be directed to the RCSU J4 sections.
