Cancellation of CATO 12-41, Acceptable Internet Use Within the CCO

- CATO 12-41, Acceptable Internet Use Within the CCO no longer reflects the current span of Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers Group (CJCR Gp) internet services, and additional policy instruments are now in place that cover its original intent. Effective immediately, CATO 12-41, Acceptable Internet Use Within the CCO is cancelled.
- Internet access, and access to CJCR Gp resources, has evolved and is now available to military members, Civilian Instructors, CJCR Gp Volunteers, and cadets. This includes both corporate networks used for business purposes and more open networks used for training purposes and access from personal devices.
- The following policies provide more accurate policy coverage and will be supplemented by new policies as they are developed:
- DAOD 6002-2, Acceptable Use of the Internet, Defence Intranet, Computers and Other Information Technology Systems;
- CJCR Gp O 5019-6, Codes of Conduct;
- CJCR Gp O 6003-4, Information Systems Account Management; and
