RETURN TO UNIT - JCR RAIN BEAR, BLOGGINSVILLE JCR PATROL

1. During recreational activities as part of the National Leader Advanced Training Session, JCR Bear lost control while riding a bicycle and hit a post, breaking her ankle. The MO (Dr. Sal Monn) recommends a medical RTU, given the injury would prevent JCR Bear from participating fully in the NLETS and that she will likely be more comfortable at home with her family.

2. Travel has been arranged via commercial air to the Blogginsville Airport, where JCR Bear’s mother will meet her. Cpl R. Hawk, a medical technician, will accompany her to provide assistance, as she is on crutches and requires medication. They are scheduled to leave St. John’s on 4 July at 0800 hrs. A full itinerary is attached.

3. JCR Bear has received her training bonus for the time she was able to participate in the NLETS. During this time, she was a keen, dedicated team member and a strong leader, and she is highly recommended to attend the 2021 NLETS next year.
