2040-2 Annex F - Terms of Reference – NACC Secretary

Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers Group Order (CJCR Gp O)

Purpose

1. The NACC Secretary will provide logistical and administrative support at the national level.

Selection

2. The NACC Secretary is a COATS member serving on Class B at CJCR HQ and is appointed by the Commander CJCR.

Term

3. The appointment is for a period of three years, with a possibility of a one year extension. The term will not exceed four years.

Rank

4. The NACC Secretary will serve in their substantive rank of Capt/Lt(N).

Responsibilities

5. The NACC Secretary is responsible for:

  1. acting as secretary for the NACC meetings and promulgating Record of Decisions, no later than five business days after a meeting;
  2. providing logistical and administrative support for meetings, business plan, travel, translation, and promotional items;
  3. ensuring necessary follow-up to action items from NACC meetings; and
  4. providing pertinent information to NACC members on issues pertaining to the COATS sub-component.
