Canadian military reports

Historic reports held at the Directorate of History and Heritage (DHH) archives and library.

These reports support the research and writing of official histories. They are available to the general public on site and online.

DHH has placed all static holdings currently available for download from our website in an indexed and searchable database. At the moment they include:

• Army Headquarters (AHQ) reports, 1948 to 1959
• Canadian Army appointments, enlistments, enrolments and fatal casualties by address at time of appointment, enlistment or enrolment, 1946 (PDF, 9.7 MB)
• Canadian Forces Headquarters (CFHQ) reports, 1960 to 1980
• Canadian Military Headquarters (CMHQ) reports, 1940 to 1948
• Militia reports, 1864 to 1925
• The Canadian Battle Series (available in French only)
• Miscellaneous reports and documents
