Families in the Lac-Saint-Jean-Est RCM will benefit from improved community spaces that support a better quality of life

August 3, 2017 – Hébertville, Quebec – Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)
As a result of an investment of nearly $450,000 by the Government of Canada, families in the Lac-Saint-Jean-Est RCM will be able to benefit from upgraded recreational areas and modern community facilities. The funding provided will generate nearly $900,000 in related investment by other partners, including non-profit organizations and municipalities.
These contributions were announced today by David Lametti, Member of Parliament for LaSalle—Émard—Verdun and Parliamentary Secretary to the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for CED.
This investment was made through the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program.
