Non-repayable contribution of $202,203 out of a total investment of $404,405

The project involves installing splash pads, skateboarding (skate park) structures and renovating the rink. CED’s contribution will cover all of the project costs.

O.T.J. de N.D. d'Hébertville Inc. is an NPO whose mission is to organize community, recreational and socio-cultural activities for all Hébertville residents. To that end, it ensures that the municipality has the infrastructure required to carry out these activities successfully and that the infrastructure is maintained in good condition.

Municipality of Ascension-de-Notre-Seigneur

Non-repayable contribution of $89,260 out of a total investment of $183,519

The project involves renovating the inside of the municipality’s arena. It also includes professional fees for an architect’s services to demolish and replace the washrooms and a community centre. CED’s contribution will cover all of the project costs except for moveable assets relating to the canteen.

The Municipality of Ascension-de-Notre-Seigneur is in charge of an arena that has offered various recreational ice sports activities for 46 years. It is submitting a project to improve this infrastructure because it no longer meets users’ needs and expectations.

Milot Economic Development Corporation

Non-repayable contribution of $75,235 out of a total investment of $150,469

The project involves upgrading and expanding the building housing the community hall, including building a deck adjacent to the community hall. CED’s contribution will cover all of the project costs.

The Milot Economic Development Corporation is an NPO administered by a six-person volunteer board of directors. The Corporation’s mission includes promoting and encouraging the municipality’s economic development, as well as promoting its economic, industrial and touristic interests. The Corporation owns the sports chalet requiring renovation.

Municipality of Lamarche

Non-repayable contribution of $40,000 out of a total investment of $80,105

The project involves fully renovating the building’s interior and exterior. CED’s contribution will cover all of the project costs.

The Municipality of Lamarche owns a community centre that hosts a number of community and social organizations that provide residents with a wide range of services.

Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 20

Non-repayable contribution of $22,800 out of a total investment of $45,600

The project involves renovating the building housing the community centre. CED’s contribution will cover all of the project costs.

The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 20, is one of 1,440 branches of the Royal Canadian Legion, whose mission is to serve veterans and their families, promote remembrance, and serve Canada’s communities. The Legion owns the community centre requiring renovation.

Sacerf des Passes Inc.

Non-repayable contribution of $14,000 out of a total investment of $28,000

The project involves improving shoreline infrastructure in the des Passes controlled harvesting zone (ZEC) by installing a floating dock and renovating the cabins and trails. CED’s contribution will cover all of the project costs.

The Société d'aménagement, de conservation et d'exploitation rationnelle de la faune (SACERF) des Passes is an NPO that was founded in 1978 to ensure management of the ZEC des Passes. Its mission is to manage, harvest and conserve wildlife and to facilitate user access to the area for recreational purposes.
