The Chocolaterie des Pères Trappistes de Mistassini will be able to modernize its facilities

December 19, 2017 – Dolbeau-Mistassini, Quebec – Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)
The Government of Quebec and the Government of Canada are announcing a $785,000 financial contribution to the Chocolaterie des Pères Trappistes de Mistassini for an innovative project that will help the business improve its productivity, meet growing demand and maximize financial returns. The Chocolaterie wants to pursue its shift to digital in order to become more competitive. The $982,000 project will lead to the creation of five jobs.

The funding for this project includes a $179,000 loan granted through the ministère de l’Économie, de la Science et de l’Innovation’s programme ESSOR (website in French only), a $179,000 loan from Investissement Québec’s own funds and a $427,000 repayable contribution from Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED), through its Quebec Economic Development Program (QEDP).
