Mindset Innovation Inc. (Mindset) is a startup company that has designed highly innovative headphones that help improve the concentration of employees, especially those working in open spaces. To support its international marketing efforts, Mindset will benefit from a $150,000 repayable contribution from Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions. The funding will allow the SME to organize various marketing support activities.
Rachel Bendayan, Member of Parliament for Outremont, took advantage of her meeting with Jacob Flood, one of the co‑founders of Mindset, to announce the funding. Specifically, the Government of Canada assistance will help expedite the commercialization of the headphones developed by Mindset. The company’s goal is to offer solutions aimed at increasing office employee productivity.
Mindset was founded in 2016 by three young engineering graduates. Besides being in line with the Government of Canada’s priorities, notably those relating to the commercialization of innovation, the project will also create 13 quality high-tech jobs and generate a total investment of over $450,000.
