Trois-Rivières, Quebec – To support the start-up of Solucan, a business that specializes in the digital printing of cans, the Government of Quebec is granting repayable financial support totalling $1,340,713 and the Government of Canada is providing a repayable contribution of $500,000. The project is evaluated at $4,094,891.

• Solucan will be the first business in North America to offer to the canned drink industry a complete digital printing solution for flexible quantities of cans.

• The Fonds de diversification économique du Centre-du-Québec et de la Mauricie aims to encourage regional economic diversification by attracting private investment and fostering the creation of high-performance, innovative jobs.

• Investissement Québec’s mission is to actively participate in Quebec’s economic development by stimulating business innovation, entrepreneurship, and investment and export growth in all of Quebec’s regions.
