Invitation to media – Minister Mélanie Joly to announce investments to support clean technology development in Montréal

Montréal, Quebec, March 3, 2021 – Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)
The Government of Canada considers the environment and clean technologies as key elements of the economic recovery.
With this in mind, the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages, the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Member of Parliament for Laurier–Sainte-Marie and Minister of Canadian Heritage, Rachel Bendayan, Member of Parliament for Outremont and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Small Business, Export Promotion and International Trade, and Soraya Martinez Ferrada, Member of Parliament for Hochelaga and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, invite media representatives to a press conference regarding assistance from Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions for the Collège de Maisonneuve’s CÉPROCQ, Propulsion Québec, Electrobac and Future Earth.
Businesses and organizations have much to gain by establishing environmental measures that will enable them to maintain their competitiveness and mitigate future climate impacts, while also meeting the growing global demand for clean technologies.
