Invitation to media – Press Conference on Taiga Motors

Shawinigan, Quebec, July 12, 2021. – The Member of Parliament for Saint-Maurice–Champlain and Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, the Minister of Finance and Minister of Economy and Innovation, Eric Girard, the Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Solidarity and Minister Responsible for the Mauricie Region, Jean Boulet, and the Member for Laviolette–Saint-Maurice and Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Forests, Wildlife and Parks (forests), Marie-Louise Tardif, invite media representatives to a press conference on Taiga Motors.

The Government of Canada announcement will be made on behalf of the Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages and Minister responsible for Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions, the Honourable Mélanie Joly.

Anyone attending the press conference in person must not present any symptoms similar to those of COVID 19 and must not have been in contact with anyone who has received a positive diagnosis within the last 14 days. Note that face masks must be worn.
