Invitation to media – Stéphane Lauzon to announce Government of Canada support for Saguenay’s Centre de géomatique du Québec

Saguenay, Quebec, January 24, 2022 – Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

Stéphane Lauzon, Member of Parliament for Argenteuil‒La Petite-Nation and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Rural Economic Development, will announce Government of Canada financial assistance to support the growth of the Centre de géomatique du Québec, an organization that helps businesses and organizations with their research and development activities in geomatics.

The Centre de géomatique du Québec, with its status as a college centre for technology transfer (CCTT), fosters development and innovation among businesses and organizations through activities around geospatial research and science and technology transfer.

The announcement of this CED financial contribution will be made on behalf of the Honourable Pascale St-Onge, Minister of Sport and Minister responsible for CED.
