Invitation to media - Press conference regarding the Centre d’innovation HIFA — Halles d’Innovation et de Formation Avancée

Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec, February 18, 2022 — The Minister of Sport and Minister responsible for Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions, the Honourable Pascale St-Onge, the Minister of Economy and Innovation and Minister Responsible for Regional Economic Development, Pierre Fitzgibbon, and the Minister of Tourism and Minister Responsible for the Lanaudière and Bas-Saint-Laurent Regions, Caroline Proulx, invite media representatives to a press conference regarding the NPO HIFA — Halles d’Innovation et de Formation Avancée.

The press conference will be held in hybrid format, meaning that some media representatives will be able to attend in person, while others will be able to participate remotely.

Journalists who want to be on site must confirm their attendance and send their application for accreditation, indicating their name and email address, to the following address by 10 a.m. on Monday, February 21, 2022: affairespubliques@economie.gouv.qc.ca. The precise address of the event will then be sent to them. Only duly accredited media representatives will have access to the room (one representative per media outlet).

Vaccine passports will be required for all people on site at the event, through the VaxiCode application, on paper or in PDF format on a mobile device. Note that for all formats of proof of vaccination, photo I.D. will be required. Procedural masks will also be mandatory.

Anyone wishing to attend the press conference must not have any symptoms similar to those of COVID-19 or have been in contact with anyone who has received a confirmed diagnosis within the last 14 days.

Journalists who want to receive the Zoom connection information must register at the following address by 10 a.m. on Monday, February 21, 2022: affairespubliques@economie.gouv.qc.ca.

Media representatives must use the following authentication on the platform: Firstname Lastname (media outlet represented).

It is recommended that you connect 10 minutes before the start of the conference.
