To strengthen the agri-tourism circuit in the Lanaudière region by modernizing the facilities of the Forêt de l’Abbaye (Val Notre-Dame).

The main activities undertaken are the development of multi-purpose areas and rooms inside and outside the store, as well as improvements to the pedestrian, ski, cycling, and snowshoe trails.

CED’s contribution focuses mainly on the cost of installing sun awnings, signage along the trails, a yurt for gourmet hikes, and wood stoves for agri‑tourism activities in the forest; and developing a multi‑purpose room within the store.

Chalets Lanaudière

Rawdon

To develop and structure the tourism offering at Chalets Lanaudière to make it a year-round, universally accessible nature destination.

This unique new tourism experience will respond to a need among clients with different types of functional limitations.

The main activities undertaken are the acquisition of six new universally accessible lodgings, outdoor work, the addition of parking spots, the creation of a four-season adapted trail, and the acquisition of adapted outdoor equipment, watercraft, and a four-season vehicle.

CED’s contribution focuses mainly on the acquisition of new accommodation units to offer a sustainable, responsible tourism experience and, above all, meet the needs of a clientele that continues to be under-served in the tourism industry: clients with reduced mobility.

Centre de villégiature et de congrès Lanaudière inc.

Saint-Jean-de-Matha

To modernize and digitize the Centre de villégiature et de congrès Lanaudière’s offering.

The main activities undertaken are the modernization of the irrigation system, the completion of a ground survey, and the development and integration of new functionalities on the client’s website.

CED’s contribution focuses on costs related to the irrigation system aimed at adopting ecofriendly practices, and the modernization of the website.
