Micmacs of Gesgapegiag Band

The aim of the project is to improve the development of linguistic duality by implementing priority tourism projects identified in the 2019‑2023 strategic plan for the Gesgapegiag Indigenous community.

CED’s contribution covers, among other things, the salary of a full-time tourism officer, professional fees and costs related to travel and the holding of community awareness-raising meetings.

Micmacs of Gesgapegiag Band

The aim of the project is to construct public washroom facilities equipped with an access ramp for wheelchairs in the Gesgapegiag community park (formerly known as the Pow-wow Grounds).

CED’s contribution covers all costs to construct the new public washroom facilities that are accessible to people with limited mobility.

Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government (Listuguj Band Council)

The aim of the project is to build new greenhouses to improve the outdoor spaces and support green projects in Listuguj.

CED’s contribution focuses on all costs to construct the two new greenhouses, except for the fees for training and to purchase movable property.
