The following information is in addition to the news release issued on February 21, 2025, on CED’s financial assistance, the recipient organizations and their respective projects.

(Tourisme Laurentides) Mirabel The aim of the four-year (2023-2027) project is to support the Association touristique des Laurentides as it guides businesses in developing and structuring the tourism experience on offer and marketing outside Quebec. CED’s assistance, provided under the QEDP, will specifically make it possible to cover the organization’s operating costs as it pursues its mandate up to 2027. Its support complements the efforts of the Alliance de l’industrie touristique du Québec and the Ministère du Tourisme and helps strengthen Quebec and Canada’s competitiveness and appeal.

Laurentides International Saint-Jérôme The aim of Laurentides International’s project is to provide advisory services and guidance to support regional businesses in their efforts to export and to enhance the services offered in the region through collective projects that will foster inter-regional coherence and maximize impacts across Quebec. CED’s assistance, provided under the REGI program, will focus specifically on costs related to the regional export promotion service and the enhancement of the export services offered (collective projects). CED works as a complement to the Government of Quebec to support the regional export promotion organizations (ORPEX organizations), which guide SMEs in their international marketing activities.

MetalCo Welding Inc. Saint-Jérôme The aim of the project is to support the initial steps to commercialize products stemming from the business’s R&D activities, including through the manufacture of demonstration units, specialized resources, promotional material and participation in trade fairs. CED’s assistance, provided under the REGI program, will focus on overall costs directly related to the manufacture and marketing of the Ulift™, a system for concrete forming businesses and general contractors to handle materials at a height. The system will have the effect of reducing costs considerably and changing how businesses place materials at a height by facilitating safe lifting.

Synergie V3 inc. Saint-Jérôme The aim of Synergie V3’s project is to improve the business’s productivity and increase its production capacity by acquiring digital production equipment, including a fiber laser cutting table and a digital control folding machine, and completing leasehold improvements. CED’s assistance, provided under the REGI program, will focus on overall project costs.
