The following information is in addition to the news release issued on February 11, 2025, on CED’s financial assistance, the recipient businesses and organizations, and their respective projects.

The aim of the project is to improve the tourism experience offered by the Corporation du parc régional de Val‍-‍Jalbert (Municipality de Chambord), including by adopting new immersive technologies, developing a digital interpretive trail, adding architectural lighting and a theme park for children, rebuilding carriages from the era, modernizing the cable cars (including replacing the cars themselves), and building a covered belvedere with heat and light.

CED’s assistance, provided under the QEDP, is focussing on overall project costs.

Réfrigération Nordic (2166-8405 Québec inc.)

The aim of the project is to enable Alma-based SME Réfrigération Nordic to grow by increasing its production capacity and improving its productivity through the acquisition of new production equipment, including a plasma cutting system, a forming station, a duct beader, an angle inserter, a folding machine, a dust collector, and a forklift; the development of a storage space; and a building expansion.

CED’s assistance, provided under the REGI program, focuses specifically on the cost of acquiring the production equipment, developing a storage space, and expanding a workshop.

The aim of the project by RPA Technologie, an SME located in Métabetchouan–Lac-à-la-Croix, is to improve the business’s productivity and increase its production capacity and sales, including by acquiring digital production equipment and expanding a building.

CED’s assistance, provided under the REGI program, focuses specifically on the cost of acquiring cutting and laser etching equipment and upgrading a website.

The aim of the project by Alimentation Nouvelle-Orléans, an SME located in Hébertville-Station, is to enable the business to grow by increasing its production capacity and improving its productivity by automating its operations through the acquisition of new processing equipment and infrastructure improvements.

CED’s assistance, provided under the REGI program, focuses specifically on the acquisition and installation of processing equipment.
