FedDev Ontario Supports Auto Parts Manufacturer Expansion

News Release

December 13, 2016 – Oldcastle, Ontario – Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario)

A federal investment of up to $2.4 million will help a Windsor-area manufacturer add over 24,000 square feet of production space at its Oldcastle, Ontario facility.

This repayable contribution, under the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario's (FedDev Ontario) Investing in Business Growth and Productivity initiative, will help Integrity Tool & Mold Inc. to obtain the additional space, tools and resources it needs to produce advanced tooling for lighting components, and to address the need for increasing innovative design in automotive exteriors and interior parts.

This investment will also help create skilled manufacturing jobs in the Windsor area and will positively impact the automotive supply chain across southern Ontario.

The Government's Innovation Agenda aims to make Canada a global centre for innovation – one that creates jobs, drives growth across all industries and improves the lives of all Canadians. This investment is an example of that vision in action, as it encourages business growth and competitiveness in the manufacturing field.
