Ottawa Bluesfest and tourism industry receive Government of Canada support

Today, the Honourable Helena Jaczek, Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), announced over $9.8 million through the Major Festivals and Events Support Initiative (MFESI) in support of Ottawa Bluesfest and more than $250,000 for three tourism businesses through the Tourism Relief Fund (TRF).

Today, the Honourable Helena Jaczek, Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), announced over $11.3 million in support of the Stratford Shakespearean Festival of Canada (Stratford Festival) and seven tourism and community projects through the Major Festivals and Events Support Initiative (MFESI), Tourism Relief Fund (TRF) and Canada Community Revitalization Fund (CCRF).
