London region receives more than $3.7 million to support 10 community infrastructure and tourism projects


Today, the Honourable Helena Jaczek, Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), announced a FedDev Ontario investment of over $3.7 million through the Canada Community Revitalization Fund (CCRF) and Tourism Relief Fund (TRF), for 10 community projects across the London region:

Restore and preserve HOLY ROLLER, a WWII Canadian Army Sherman Tank of the 6th Armoured Regiment (1st Hussars).



Boler Mountain

Extend season by upgrading snow equipment at Boler Mountain.



Corporation of the City of London

Implement “Welcome to the Heart of London” project to enhance downtown experience for locals and visitors. 



London Children's Museum

Adapt the top floor of the historic Kellogg’s cereal factory in London into a new Children’s Museum.



London Music Hall

Enhance Fall Music Festival by hosting in indoor and outdoor spaces.



RBC Place London

Modernize and update protocols to meet health and safety requirements and enhance overall onsite guest experience at London Convention Centre.



Corporation of the City of London

Construct and install “Village Green” in Hyde Park.



Corporation of the City of London

Revitalize King Street Parkette in downtown London, located adjacent to RBC Place London.




Install three-story mosaic panels and murals on newly constructed affordable housing building.



London Optimist Sports Centre

Install new artificial turf at BMO Centre.



Today’s $3.7-million Government of Canada investment is pending successful completion of signed contribution agreements.
