Government of Canada Invests to Assist Moonbeam Diversify its Economy

December 5, 2016 – Moonbeam, ON – Federal Economic Development Initiative for Northern Ontario – FedNor

The Government of Canada is helping the Township of Moonbeam to develop a five-year strategic plan. Thanks to $8451 in FedNor funding, the community is working with a consultant to help it identify the best options for growing and diversifying its tourism-based economy.

The Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, and Minister responsible for FedNor, today announced the Northern Ontario Development Program investment.
