Government of Canada Announces Infrastructure Investment to Support Social and Economic Development and Growth in Sprucedale

April 7, 2017 – Sprucedale, ON – Federal Economic Development Initiative for Northern Ontario - FedNor

A Government of Canada investment of $75,000 will enable the Township of McMurrich/Monteith to make improvements to Sprucedale’s outdoor rink to increase accessibility and usage.

The Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, and Minister responsible for FedNor, today announced this Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program investment.  Specifically, the FedNor funding will enable the community to build two change rooms and storage space for equipment, and install protective bird netting and a public address system.
