The Government of Canada is investing $100,000 to enable the City of Sudbury, in partnership with the Onaping Falls Recreation Committee, to modernize and upgrade the local community centre. Built in the 1950s, the Onaping Falls Community Centre is an important local asset that serves as a central gathering place and social hub for the community.

• CIP 150 funding is designed to leave a lasting legacy by supporting the rehabilitation or improvement of existing community infrastructure assets and facilities that promote community and cultural benefits for the public.

• FedNor is delivering this program in Northern Ontario with an allocation of $10.4 million over two years, ending March 31^st, 2018.
