Government of Canada to announce support to establish world-class science and tourism centre in the Kenora district

Kenora, Ontario, April 7, 2021– Terry Sheehan, Parliamentary Secretary to the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages and Minister responsible for FedNor, will make a virtual FedNor announcement on Thursday, April 8, 2021. The announcement will support cutting-edge research and help boost tourism in the region by creating a unique ecotourism experience in Northwestern Ontario.
PS Sheehan and guest speakers will be available to answer questions from the media following the announcement.
