Government of Canada to make an announcement in support of tourism in Northwestern Ontario

Thunder Bay, ON, June 28, 2022 —The Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Indigenous Services and Minister responsible for FedNor, and Member of Parliament for Thunder Bay—Superior North, will be at Science North on Wednesday, June 29 to announce significant FedNor support to enhance tourism and expand Northwestern Ontario’s creative economy. Marcus Powlowski, Member of Parliament for Thunder Bay—Rainy River, will also be on hand for the announcement.

Minister Hajdu, MP Powlowski, and guest speakers, will be available for questions from the media following the announcement.
