Minister of Indigenous Services and Minister responsible for FedNor, along with MP Lapointe and MP Serré to make a FedNor investment announcement regarding Battery Electric Vehicles in Sudbury

Sudbury, ON, July 4, 2022 —The Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Indigenous Services and Minister responsible for FedNor, will join Viviane Lapointe Member of Parliament for Sudbury, and Marc G. Serré, Member of Parliament for Nickel Belt and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Official Languages, in Sudbury on Tuesday July 5, to announce FedNor funding for battery electric vehicle technology in the Greater Sudbury area.  Dr. Mike Commito, Director of Applied Research & Innovation, Cambrian College, Don Duval, Chief Executive Officer – NORCAT, and Mayor Brian Bigger will also join the announcement.

Event participants will be available for questions from the media following the announcement.
