Due to inclement weather across Northern Ontario, the announcement with Minister Hajdu and MP Rota scheduled for tomorrow, January 20, at 10:00 a.m. in North Bay has been postponed.  Updated information will be provided when a new date is confirmed.

North Bay, ON, January 19, 2023 — the Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Indigenous Services and Minister responsible for FedNor will make an important announcement to support innovation, job creation and economic growth in Northeastern Ontario. The Honourable Anthony Rota, Member of Parliament for Nipissing–Timiskaming,  Rob Deline, Executive Director, Innovation Initiatives Ontario North (IION) and George Burton, President and CEO, Canadore College will also participate in the event.

Before the announcement, Minister Hajdu and MP Rota will tour the Canadore's Innovation Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Prototyping facility (ICAMP).

Minister Hajdu, MP Rota and guest speakers will be available to answer questions from the media following the announcement.
