Government of Canada to announce support for the development of the electric vehicle supply chain in Northern Ontario

Cobalt, ON, February 8, 2024 — Marc G. Serré, Member of Parliament for Nickel Belt and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Official Languages, and Anthony Rota, Member of Parliament for Nipissing-Timiskaming, will announce Government of Canada support for the development of the electric vehicle supply chain in Northern Ontario.

The announcement will be made on behalf of the Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Indigenous Services and Minister responsible for FedNor.

MP Serré, MP Rota, and guest speakers will be available to answer questions from the media following the announcement.
