Ottawa, Ontario – The Honourable Hunter Tootoo, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard and Nunavut Premier, the Honourable Peter Taptuna, will address the Northern Lights conference at noon where they will demonstrate support of Canada’s Indigenous seal industry.

Prior to the announcement, Minister Tootoo and Premier Taptuna will be available for a photo opportunity with sealskin seamstresses at the Northern Lights Conference at 11:45 a.m.
