Vancouver, B.C. – The Honourable Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, will formally open the Canadian Coast Guard Kitsilano Base.

Media are invited to attend.

NOTE: Around 9:15 a.m. at Jericho Boat Launch, adjacent to Kitsilano Base, there will be a photo opportunity of a flotilla of First Nation canoes and other marine response vessels arriving at the beach.
