Vancouver, B.C. – Terry Beech, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard and Member of Parliament for Burnaby North-Seymour and Jonathan Wilkinson, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Environment and Climate Change Canada and Member of Parliament for North Vancouver will make announcements on a new program to help assess the impacts of human activities on our marine ecosystems in the context of the Government of Canada’s Oceans Protection Plan and the United Nations Environment Program’s Clean Seas Campaign. These announcements are taking place during the World Environmental Education Congress as part of the Ocean Wise initiative.
