Government of Canada announces support for research on contaminants and aquatic species

West Vancouver, B.C. – Terry Beech, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, together with Pamela Goldsmith-Jones, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of International Trade and MP for West Vancouver — Sunshine Coast — Sea to Sky Country, will announce funding for research on contaminants, as well as a new partnership with the Coastal Ocean Research Institute for research on contaminants’ effects on the Southern Resident Killer Whale.
Media are invited to attend; there will be an opportunity for questions following the announcement.
