The Honourable Jonathan Wilkinson, Minister for Fisheries and Oceans Canada and the Canadian Coast Guard, Tours the Salute to the Sockeye 2018

Kamloops, BC – The Honourable Jonathan Wilkinson, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, will tour the Salute to the Sockeye 2018 festival. While there he will meet with representatives from the Adams River Salmon Society and the Little Shuswap Lake Indian Band, observe the Interpretative Education Program for area elementary school children, view DFO biologists and technicians do in-field stock monitoring work, and see sockeye spawning in the channels on the site.
