Technical Briefing on study of Socio-economic Risk of Grass Carp in the Great Lakes

Burlington, Ontario — Fisheries and Oceans Canada and the Invasive Species Centre will host a webinar and technical summary of the completed Socio-Economic Risk Assessment Of The Presence Of Grass Carp In The Great Lakes Basin. The study’s author will present findings and provide a summary of the potential economic impact to Canada and the US of the establishment of Grass Carp in the Great Lakes. Representatives from the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry and the Great Lakes Fishery Commission will also be present.
