Canada condemns terrorist attack in Kabul, Afghanistan

The Honourable Stéphane Dion, Minister of Foreign Affairs, issued the following statement:

“Canada strongly condemns today’s terrorist attack by the Taliban on a National Directorate of Security office in Kabul, Afghanistan.

“Canada stands with the Afghan people in the global struggle against terrorism in all its forms.

“On behalf of the Government of Canada, I offer my sincere condolences to the families and friends of those killed and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.”
