Reminder - Minister Bibeau, Parliamentary Secretary Virani and Humanitarian Coalition members to launch World Refugee Day campaign

April 21, 2016 - The Honourable Marie-Claude Bibeau, Minister of International Development and La Francophonie, and Arif Virani, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, along with members of the Humanitarian Coalition and other humanitarian partners, will announce the launch of a national awareness- and fund-raising campaign to draw attention to the plight of forcibly displaced people around the world. Mr. Virani will represent the Honorable John McCallum, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship.

The campaign, a Humanitarian Coalition initiative, will culminate in a national day of action on June 20, World Refugee Day.
