Trans-Pacific Partnership town hall and consultations in Yellowknife

David Lametti, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of International Trade, will be in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, on November 8 to continue consultations on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).
During his visit, the Parliamentary Secretary will hold a town hall meeting at the Explorer Hotel, 4825 49th Avenue, at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8. This meeting will be open to the public and those interested in the TPP.
Since the release of the TPP text in November 2015, the Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Minister of International Trade, and the Parliamentary Secretary have conducted consultations across the country to seek the views of Canadians. The TPP is a proposed trade agreement among 12 countries that together represent a market of nearly 800 million people with a combined GDP of $28.5 trillion.
