Minister of International Trade to talk about progressive trade at Montreal Council on Foreign Relations

The Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Minister of International Trade, will be in Montréal, Quebec, on January 5, 2017, to highlight recent accomplishments under Canada’s progressive trade agenda, which is helping the middle class and those working hard to join it.
The Minister will give a speech at the Montreal Council on Foreign Relations about how small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) may benefit from the Canada-EU Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA). She will also discuss the Government of Canada’s aim to increase international investment and explain how the government is leading by example on progressive trade through its support of SMEs.
