Parliamentary Secretary Celina Caesar-Chavannes to participate in panel discussion as part of International Development Week

February 7, 2018 – As part of International Development Week 2018 and on behalf of the Honourable Marie-Claude Bibeau, Minister of International Development and La Francophonie, Celina Caesar-Chavannes, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of International Development, will participate in a panel discussion organized by Plan International Canada and Global Affairs Canada called “International development in the #MeToo era - Amplifying the voices and choices of girls and women everywhere.”

Parliamentary Secretary Caesar-Chavannes will be joined at this event by youth participants, government officials and civil society representatives in discussing the benefits of a gender-transformative approach to development and Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy.

The event will be webcast via Facebook Live at Canada’s International Development--Global Affairs Canada.
