The Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today announced the appointment of Lea Nicholas-MacKenzie as special adviser for Indigenous issues, based at the Permanent Mission of Canada to the United Nations in New York, United States.
The appointment is effective June 18, 2018.
