Update - Government of Canada to make an announcement

June 28, 2018 - The Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Minister of Foreign Affairs; the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development; and the Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour, will make an announcement regarding Canada’s response to steel and aluminum tariffs imposed by the United States. A media availability will follow.

Location: Stelco, Depew Street Gate, Hamilton, Ontario
Media representatives wishing to participate in the event should arrive no later than 10:30 a.m. and will be required to register with Stelco security at the corner of Depew Street and Industrial Drive.
PLEASE NOTE: Everyone is required to have long sleeves, pants and closed toe shoes. Additional safety gear will be provided.
