Media Accreditation is now open for the G7 Ministerial Meeting on Working Together on Climate Change, Oceans and Clean Energy

Ottawa, Ontario, August 24, 2018 — The Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, the Honourable Jonathan Wilkinson, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, and the Honourable Amarjeet Sohi, Minister of Natural Resources, will co-host a meeting of G7 Environment, Oceans and Energy Ministers on the theme of “Working Together on Climate Change, Oceans and Clean Energy” from September 19 to 21, 2018, in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Photo opportunities and media availabilities will be held throughout the program.
Media representatives who wish to cover this event must apply for accreditation and obtain an identification badge using the online application process which can be accessed at www.accreditationcanada.gc.ca/Halifax-2018
The online portal is now open and will close on September 13, 2018 at 23:59 EST. No applications will be accepted after that date. Only accredited media with an identification badge will have access to the meeting sites.
