Schedule for Ottawa Ministerial on WTO Reform

October 23, 2018 - The Honourable Jim Carr, Minister of International Trade Diversification, will host ministers from 12 member economies of the WTO at the Ottawa Ministerial on WTO Reform on October 24 and 25, 2018. At the meeting, the ministers will work to identify concrete actions to enhance and improve the WTO over the short, medium and long terms.

Media representatives who have not registered should contact media@international.gc.ca.

Accreditation badges can be obtained at the media registration desk outside of the Media Centre in the Canal Foyer of the National Arts Centre, 1 Elgin Street, Ottawa, Ontario, on Thursday, October 25 starting at 8:00 a.m.

The Media Centre will provide accredited media with a workspace, including access to electrical power outlets and free Wi-Fi Internet access.

There will be two areas that will be available for unscheduled media opportunities. They will be located on the Elgin level of the National Arts Centre and will have AV set-up, media box, and lighting.

Global Affairs Canada staff will be on site to answer any logistical questions you may have and will do their best to accommodate any needs.
